FAQ – We want to support local businesses but how do we buy from them and stay safe ourselves ?

There is no doubt the next 6 months are going to be challenging for us all, businesses and individuals alike.

One thing which is unchanged – Businesses need to make sales to survive and consumers want to buy, but without risking their health.

 

So, to all businesses, now is an opportunity for you to distinguish yourself from your competitors :

– consider how to sell your product or service in a way which works within the new circumstances we live in and do it NOW.

Perhaps it’s online sales, free home delivery, non-contact takeaway, using technology such as virtual meetings (like Astro Tax), restricting numbers in your shop or outlet at any one time, having a non-contact key drop off and return and making sure you can accept electronic payments…we all know its not easy but there are still many options, be positive and try to think outside the box and ask for help if you need it; and

– advertise, market, post on social media. Tell everyone why they should buy from you and how they can do so safely, explain your procedures, eg what cleaning you are doing, and again, do it NOW

 

At Astro Tax we have

– circularised all clients, contacts and suppliers to advise we’ve not recently been overseas and are avoiding contact with anyone who has, and

– have in place processes and technology to ensure we can maintain contact with our clients and contacts (virtual meetings etc) and can continue working, in all circumstances from our home offices
