I do not understand how the regulatory system can allow this to happen (https://www.smsfadviser.com/news/16482-major-bank-s-smsf-clients-front-royal-commission) but Accountants (who I believe would have correctly advised against this course of action) are blocked from advising clients on these matters (at least without further qualification). How can this be right?
